Sheila Mohajer Hofert, MD

Description

Dr. Sheila M. Hofert is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She currently practices pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in White Marsh, with interest in mindfulness and patient-clinician wellness. Her favorite part of being a physician is caring for patients and teaching medical students and pediatric residents.   Dr. Hofert earned undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida and her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed a pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins.  She practiced pediatric hospital/emergency medicine until she transitioned to primary care in 2022.   She speaks English and Persian. She is a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics.  Her hobbies and interests are gardening, creative writing, painting, hiking, yoga, meditation and spending time with family and friends.
