Selamawit Addissie, M.D., received her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. During medical school, Dr. Addissie volunteered and worked with diverse groups of patients and formed meaningful interactions, which helped broaden her cultural competency.
